Fatar Studio 49 Midi connection to Logic

Hello I have this old Fatar keyboard that works with 5pin midi , The unit lights on but I have tried connecting to my Mac and Logic but I can’t get it to work .

I have created the audio midi setup

changed channel to 1

created a control surface setup in Logic

No sound through the keyboard

Logic Pro and NI S49: keys not working after firmware update Hey all, I have a NI S49 midi controller. I have been using it with logic pro for over a year, no issues. recently, I completed a firmware update for the keyboard and now it won't make any sound or recognize the input of the keys. The patches are loading correctly and I see the same patch loaded on the display as I do in logic. The controller is also recognized in my controller settings and I didn't change any settings. I followed this guide: If Logic Pro for Mac isn't working - Apple Support and still, no dice. Anyone have any idea where in Logic I should go to troubleshoot this, or a setting I am maybe missing? Thanks in advance for your time.

USB midi controller keyboard question Hi, I have a midi controller keyboard connected and powered via USB to my Mac and it all works very well with Logic. I also have the same keyboard connected to a groovebox via 5pin midi. The keyboard and groovebox also work well together as long as the Mac is switched off. If I switch on the Mac, the controller keyboard no longer works with the groovebox. Is anyone able to advise a way around this that doesn't involve plugging the controller keyboard into a different power outlet? THANKS

Mac Basics needed:

1) Quit Logic

2 Open Audio Midi Setup

3 Enable test:(Little keyboard icon highlighted in image

4 Play a note or 2 on your keyboard: you should hear a beep, and see a blue triangle on the FATAR icon light up. If yes, switch off test in AMS. If you don't hear beep or see blue triangle you have a connection/driver issue most likely.

Start Logic

Test
