How do I restore an ihpone that the data recovery cannot be completed, please restore from from backup?

This an old phone that we did not use and we would like to use it for music to not occupy our current phones.

How to restore data from corrupted backup done through apple devices app on windows? Hello, I paid off my phone and tried to reset it so i can unlock it. I contacted ATT and got the instructions that i had to backup my phone and factory reset/erase it. After installing ITunes through Microsoft Store and connecting it to the PC it would not appear on the it. I tried connecting disconnecting multiple time but it would not work. Only after installing Apple Devices App from Apple again through Microsoft Store was i able to backup the phone which took 6-7 hours. As soon as i backed up the phone and restore it and started backing it up it would not work since i didn't have enough space on the PC. I tried to move the backup to outside storage but as soon as i moved the data i noticed that the file was only one third the size of the original. Is there any software that can recover corrupted iphone backup on windows? Thank you.

Question about restore data and Strorage My old Iphone had broken (The front screen was flattered), and I need to backup all the data of it, can I access it from my PC using Itunes without perform any step on the phone (I don’t have any Icloud backup or Data backup of it). I notice that whenever I upgrade to new IOS, which will make the device to install a update package, does this package gonna disappear after update, or it will remain and take up the memory of the phone ?
