I can't open the apple pencil modified PDF files.

Hi,

I'm unable to open the PDF files that were previously modified with an Apple Pencil. Perhaps they were saved incorrectly? Regardless, I can't open, copy, or even rename these important files, which are solely on my iPad.

Tried to open with different pdf readers, open on my PC but nothing helps.

Any idea, solution?

iPad OS 17: Issue with Apple Pencil annotations in duplicated PDF files After updating to iPad OS 17, I've noticed an issue with the Files app when working with duplicated PDF files. When I try to erase annotations made with the Apple Pencil in the file that has been duplicated, they don't disappear immediately. Instead, they fade slightly but remain visible. If I close and then reopen the duplicated file, the faded annotations are gone. This wasn't an issue in the previous version, where annotations in the duplicated file could be erased directly. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions or workarounds would be appreciated.

Markup tools not available on my 4th generation iPad Pro when working on PDF file. I no longer have markup tools when working on a PDF file….. I’ve been using these tools without issue… until today. When I call the markup tools, the markup icon indicates they are available, but the do not appear on the screen. I still have markup tools in photos and in notes — just not with pdf files my machine is iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th generation) and I am running the current version of iOS, iPadOS 26.1 I’ve restarting the machine … to no avail.
