OK then! Plenty Other Duties kept me from my 'last' AirPort Express return to service. Today, I followed your advice to locate the, non responding' Airport Express a few feet from my Airport Extreme Router. I had waited to make that closer move since my 'last' AirPort Express is located through an Open Door and 14feet away from my Router. But that did the trick! I use this location for a AppleTV 4k and SONY TV in front of my Treadmill to give me, very enjoyable 'walks' in other Countries and throughout the U.S. I choose 'Location Sound Only' and avoid Music and Voice Description Tourist Guides in favor of the effect off actually being there. You could say, this specific AirPort Express location keeps me physically moving and freeing my mind from all the Concerns of Old Age.

Thanks Tesserax! You and Bob Timmons got me back on my enjoyable Treadmill Walks!

Stuck on last Airport Express though, multiple ReSets show Network Green Lamp, but Airport Express keeps flashing yellow.

Open AirPort Utility, and click on the AirPort Express that is flashing amber

Look for the Status setting and click directly on the amber dot there.

Another message will appear with hints about what the problem might be.

If you need to reconfigure the AirPort Express again, temporarily locate it close to the main router for the setup and wait for the green light.

Then move the Express to the desired location.

Thanks Bob! I've been delayed by Old Age necessities recently, but got back to reading your, and Tesserax guidance for restoring my 'last' of four AirPort Express units by moving it from 14feet through a Open Door to 4feet in front of my Airport Extreme Router. That Did The Trick! Now I can resume my enjoyable TreadMill Walks around our Country and The Rest of our World with, only local sounds, Videos. Winter walking is often tough in the places I've lived most of my life in South Dakota and Minnesota.

Yep! I've been busy otherwise but today back to some troubleshooting/setup again.

  • got most useful secondary Apple Router working after several tries/days of performing ReSet of Unit - Hooray!
  • got second most useful, Guest Room, Airport Express working after, again several tries/days of ReSet - Hooray!
  • Stuck on last Airport Express though, multiple ReSets show Network Green Lamp, but Airport Express keeps flashing yellow. I'll get back to that unit another day.
  • Thanks for your guidance Tesserax! I know Networks can be finicky at times. I do have another Apple Airport Express I could try for the last, nonworking, unit. That's for another day.

You're very welcome! Looks like Bob Timmons got back to you before I could, and I consider him the AirPort Guru here at the ASC. His advice is spot on!

One thing I didn't ask you, is if you are using these Express base stations to extend the wireless range of your AirPort Extreme. If you are, you may also find the following user tip article helpful about their physical placement:
