Smart invert filter

Every morning my iPhone is set to smart invert, and the screen is glitchy. After turning it off it’s working like usual, but I’m starting to get annoyed that it keeps on doing so every morning.

any solutions?

Which iPhone do you have? Which iOS verison is installed on it?

Are you certain that this is Smart Invert Filter and not Dark Mode? Do you have any active Automations on the iPhone? To check this, open the Shortcuts app ➡️ Automation (Bottom Center tab): Here, you will see any active Automations.

What baffles me is that the Smart Invert filter is set to ON on its own and happens every single morning. There are no schedules set by you and no Automations set for this.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
