My wife has purchased the Fitness plus app with family sharing. I can see it on my iPad and phone. I’m unable to see it on my children’s devices.

They both own an iPad with the latest software, but do not own a phone or watch.

Is it possible for them to watch fitness, plus workouts without having other devices apart from an iPad

Can I set up sharing on my child's Apple Watch? I'm letting my son use my old Apple Watch and I set it up for him since he doesn't have a phone yet. I'd like to see his exercise when he's done so I tried setting up sharing and he got the request on the watch but it says he needs to set up sharing on the fitness app. I can see his watch on my iPhone but his profile doesn't have the sharing tab on the bottom like my profile does. Is there a way to see his workout via sharing like I do with my wife?

Family Shared Fitness+ Account Through AppleTV I have a Fitness+ subscription which my partner can use on his iPhone because I set up Family Sharing. I use my Fitness+ on my AppleTV, which is set up with my Apple ID. We have tried to set up my partner in the AppleTV Fitness app but it doesn't recognize his iPhone to connect him to it. When you open the AppleTV Fitness app there is the option to login as me or choose "other". I am assuming this is for someone else who has family share privileges on my Fitness account so they can work out through the AppleTV app, but when we select "other", we see a message saying to open your iPhone or Apple watch. When he opens his iPhone, it isn't recognized. He never gets the pop-up to "Connect" that I get when I open the app on my AppleTV. Is there a way for him to use my family shared Fitness account on my AppleTV? We don't want to work out together, which many of the questions posted here seem to be about. We want him to be able to use the app on his own but through my AppleTV, not just his iPhone or iPad.

Reviewing Workout Data in Family Sharing Hi, My child's AppleWatch is linked to my phone via Family Sharing. His Fitness data is also shared with me. Using the Fitness app on my iPhone I can see his daily Ring & Award data. I can also see if a workout has been done BUT I can only see the type & distance of the workout. I cannot select it to see the details of the workout such as "workout time", "splits", etc. Is there a way we can review his workout data in more detail? Cheers in advance

The blurb for Fitness+ says it is available with iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch, however a little further down it states:

To subscribe to Apple Fitness+ all you need is iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or later or Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watchOS 7.2 or later paired with iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14.3 or later.

With this in mind I think you need either an iPhone or Apple Watch to monitor your activity during a workout.
