Apple Maps and Google Maps freezing on CarPlay during navigation

Has anyone found a fix for this? Did a long trip yesterday and it drives me crazy that Apple Maps, Google maps and Waze are getting stuck while on navigation. I have a Samsung fold 4 also and it does not happen only on my iPhone 15 pro max on it's latest update 17.2.1. Radio is original from the manufacturer and I confirmed it's not the network provider nor the car it self.

CarPlay Issues with iPhone 14 Pro Max after iOS 18.1 Update I'm experiencing issues with wireless CarPlay in my A7 since I updated to iOS 18.1. Streaming audio Aps only work after turning off wireless and turning it back on. Map Aps (Apple, Google, Waze) are not fully loading app graphics. I assume this is related to a 18.1 bug because I've tried restarting the iPhone, the MyAudi app and the car's infotainment app. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with CarPlay since iOS 18.1?
