CarPlay Issues with iPhone 14 Pro Max after iOS 18.1 Update

I'm experiencing issues with wireless CarPlay in my A7 since I updated to iOS 18.1. Streaming audio Aps only work after turning off wireless and turning it back on. Map Aps (Apple, Google, Waze) are not fully loading app graphics.

I assume this is related to a 18.1 bug because I've tried restarting the iPhone, the MyAudi app and the car's infotainment app.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with CarPlay since iOS 18.1?

The issue was related to wi-fi not connecting after the iOS update. After a few days of frustration I was able to resolve by turning off my cars wi-fi and then turning it on again and doing the same on my iPhone.

I’m seeing a simulator issues with my 2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness and iPhone 15 Pro since upgrading to iOS 18.1. I used to be able to leave the car after using wireless CarPlay, then enter the car and my iPhone would pickup where it left off, i.e playing music or listening to a audiobook. Now I have to use the settings app in the car to “disconnect or disable” the iPhone on the console and reconnect again. CarPlay has always been flaky, Subaru blames Apple and Apple could never resolve the navigation issues I had. Now the CarPlay experience is even worse.
