No Audio on Shared Final Cut Pro project

I have been away from Final Cut Pro for a while. So maybe I missed some critical tidbit. I recorded my grandkids' Christmas play. I put one camera on a tripod and captured everything for the full duration. I also used my second camera to capture a few B-roll close up segments.

I selected all the clips in FCP and created a "Synchronized Clip" (the MultiCam route wasn't right for me). After doing all my edits and title creating, I was happy with my Project. by the way: I used the first camera's audio for the whole project.

I played the project and was satisfied with my production. However when I "Share" the Project, the resultant file has no audio.

What am I missing?

As I mentioned, I just got back to FCP after a year away, and have yet to be as fluent as I was with earlier versions. It has now ben a few days, but as I recall, MultiCam wasn't allowing me to trim my 'B' shots as expected and wasn't allowing me to mute the 'B' audio. ... I will definitely look into doing things the right way when I have the time to read the manuals slowly.

I was able to get my audio by 1)Opening up the timeline objects in my project. 2)Selecting the Audio in the timeline. 3)In the Audio Inspector Selecting the checkbox for "Dialogue-1." === The key item is the checkbox.

At this stage I'm going to consider this a "Win" and move back to the video training I have lined up. I have a bigger project ahead but also the deadline is much further out.

Synchronized clip is wrong for this purpose. It is meant to sync ONE video to multiple audio clips. How did you manage to switch between the two cameras using a synchronized clip, anyway?! Could you please explain.

I don't understand why you think multicam clip wasn't right, it IS the appropriate way to do it and it would make your job really easy.

In order to try and understand how your export had no audio, please tell us exactly how you used the sync clip - did you actually make a project, or just edited inside the sync clip? Did the audio play correctly from the timeline?

What were your export settings exactly?

Post some screenshots of the timeline and your export settings, so we have a clearer idea of your workflow and what possible reasons there may be for the problem.
