Apple devices not connecting to internet

My iPad and iPhone struggle to connect to the internet even though wifi is connected. Other devices in our home (tv, laptop) connect easily and work well. Often apps will not be able to open. When using Safari websites will only partially load, or give an error saying not connected to internet but at the same time, I am able to use another app, such as facebook and be connected. Sometimes if I switch from our 5g wifi to our wifi it briefly fixes the issue but it seems to only be getting worse and I cannot search or shop for things using Safari. I have restarted, cleared my history and reset my network and nothing has changed. The router has also been reset.

Re: "Apple devices not connecting to internet"

Wondering if your devices are updated to the latest compatible iOS and iPadOS versions, and if not, whether updating may help. (You could check if updates are available in Settings > General > Software updates.)

or

If your devices are already updated to the latest compatible versions:

Restarting your devices was a good thing to try. A restart does delete temporary files, re-establishes connections, etc., and often restores order when things are not working.

If installed, try turning off VPN and any third-party (non-Apple) apps like virus checkers, cleaners, ad-blockers and the like ... these can often be the cause of difficulties ... experiment to find which one causes issues.

You could check with your provider whether there is a firmware update available for your modem / router,

Re: "The router has also been reset".

Wondering if you checked with the provider whether the settings may need changing.

You could also check if using Cellular data instead of wi-fi gives you a better result (charges may apply)
