iPhone 15 Max missing charging accessories

I recently bought an iPhone 15 max. The phone is great, but I am super frustrated that it did not come with a charging cable or a charging adapter especially since they are different than those that I used with my iPhone 11.


I was lucky that my son's iPad had the cable and charging adapter that worked.


Not sure how Apple expects people to charge their new phone without these items.


Be advised that when you buy an iPhone 15 you will need to purchase the accessories separately. I spent an additional $70 to get these items.

The Apple iPhone 15 comes with a USB-C charging cable when purchased new. It does not come with a power adapter. Apple, amongst other smart phone manufactures, stopped providing the power adapters with their phones years ago.


When purchasing an iPhone, Apple includes what is provided "In the box" to let folks know before they make their purchase.


For example, for the iPhone 15 Plus (there is no "Max" model,) you would see the following:
