syncing

My email is not syncing between my iphone and ipad. I can retrieve email on both devices, but when I delete on one device, it's still on the other device.

On each device go to Settings/Mail/Accounts and tap on each account. Make sure that they account type is not POP. It can be Exchange, iCloud or IMAP; those are the account types that sync among devices. And mail never syncs device to device; each device syncs with a server, so you need an internet connection on each device to the same mail server and account.
