AT&T SIM card is not supported the phone under iPhone 13

Hi I have questions about SIM card, I’m using AT&T as my SIM card now, and I just heard about that company is not support under iPhone 13 to use their SIM card (I’m iPhone 12 Pro Max user), because of they are updating some software? Is that’s true?
