Apple Watch Ultra 2 Fake or real?

I've found a reasonably priced AWU2 and the seller is offering to send the receipt to serious buyers (so far no answer from him). This is how the box he posted looks like. I have my doubts but wanted to double check just in case. The serial number says it legit.

I’ve been noticing a few people selling it and showing similar back of the box picture.

my question would be, does Apple make their watches in USA? I thought all production is in China or am I wrong?

I can confirm to you that this is fake. I know because a google search of this serial number (J6RF2CF7WR) and it’s imei shows on multiple versions of advertised ultra 2. Meaning the fake manufacturers got the original serial and imei and made many fakes off the details. I just fell for one. The item hasn’t arrived but i realized i got scammed when i googled the serial

number. I wish i did this research before paying. I will fight this to the last. I will just return the item without opening

Hello Fellow Apple Owners. I've owned my business for 38 years in the Electronics industry and have learned never to take anything for granted. There are countless scammers out there on Kijijii, Facebook Marketplace and more. They all provide you with an "invoice" from Apple. Usually its a photo or pdf of an invoice and all the serial numbers match on the box and the bill. You will rarely be able to open the packaging if its "new" and load up the Watch or Iphone to confirm that the serial numbers match. Usually there is no syncing or setup required as these are basically Android devices which is the first give away. The second noticeable scam is that the name of the seller on the invoice never matches the name of the person selling it. That should be your first clue. Naturally they'll tell you that they got it as a Birthday present or wedding gift or don't want an apple product any longer. But in reality its a SCAM. I have seen Iphones that look and feel the same right up to the Interface which appears when you turn the phone or watch on.....Real Apple Products are never setup out of the box. Don't be ashamed to ask the hard questions. You will either get no reply or they will become very aggressive and use profane language. Report them immediately. They take advantage of anyone that is willing to pay. NEVER fall for them shipping it. Never E-Transfer or Prepay using Zelle or any other payment method. Paypal is probably safe but you need to spell out exactly what your expectations are for what you are buying....REAL APPLE PRODUCT...NOT COUNTERFEIT. I hope this has been helpful.

Thanks a lot whistle blower DilliRi & tumajay. At the very last moment before paying $600 cash i thought to check the comments here in this community & found out this guy is a scammer so let me add on more about this guy, fb id (Chroma Key) the address he gave me was 8581 142st Surrey. Now of course i am going tomorrow to buy from either best buy or costco next to my house. Thanks all and keep creating awareness to expose the scammers.

The box says “ made in China.” That checks out.

It’s not new. I wouldn’t buy one without the Apple green dot seal tape.

I just got a fake band from Amazon. Advertised as new and sold and shipped by Amazon. Not sealed. Amazon said it’s real. Genius Bar confirmed a fake. In dispute on my Amazon CC. I’ll never buy any Apple product from Amazon again.

Very surprised the seal tape was on it. Did you compare it to the green dot seal tape at the Apple Store? When I got a fake band from Amazon, I bought the identical item from the Apple Store. It looks like a hard seal to duplicate. Most buyers won’t look for that so the fakes just don’t go to the trouble.

My mate bought an Apple Watch from a bloke he didn’t know, he said well its in the apple box and was sealed, he gave me the serial number and as someone pointed out its a real serial number on the box but its expired and was a different strap than it was originally, then someone also pointed out online that it will ask you to scan an app, last time I bought an apple watch it didn’t do that but also had the snoopy when switched on so 100% fake
