Music app (and relative commands) not showing in "Now playing" in Menu Bar

Hi all! Since the update to Sonoma (currently on the version 14.2, on a MBP 14-inch 2021 with M1 Pro), the Music app behaves strangely. In particular, even when playing media, this does not show in the very useful "Now playing" in the menu bar, which has as consequences:

- I have to go to the Music app for controlling the music, instead of controlling in the background.

- I also cannot controll the music app with external inputs, for example the keys play, back, forward etc. on a keyboard and touch controls on earbuds.

In the screenshot you can see how media playing from YouTube (browser) and Spotify (app) show, while a song currently playing with Music does not show. Also, I have no problems in controlling Youtube and Spotify with keyboard and earbuds.

How can I fix this?
