I updated my Mac to macOS Tahoe and now I can't play or pause music on Apple Music using the space bar, but it works in every other app. I want to know how I can fix this problem and if it really is a bug in the new macOS...

Safe Boot, regular boot. Was still occurring for me. On speakers, on AirPods (stem pinch does pause/start). Only in the main Music window.
Interestingly, with a track playing I selected View menu > Show playing next and then the space bar paused/resumed the track. Even after Hide playing next, it now works normally.
Second glitch today. Fun with new OS.

It appears to be a bug in the Music app. I see the same behavior in the main window in Music, though in the Miniplayer the space bar pauses/resumes normally.
In the main window, the Controls menu lists Space as the shortcut for Pause, but it doesn't work.

Well, it works fine on my Macs.
Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.
Same, but for me, the space bar favourites or unfavourites a song. It's been driving me crazy. Also running Tahoe 26.1. Has anyone had any further luck? I guess just wait for an update.
EDIT: It works with function(fn)+space. Still not ideal.
