How to setup an apple developer account for a USA organization if I'm a Canadian consultant?

I'm in Canada, need to create an apple ID and apple developer account for an organization in the USA. It seems like I can't create an apple ID for an organization directly (question 1: is it possible to do so?)

So, I created an apple ID on my name using the email address given to me by the organization. This apple ID shows my country is Canada, and I'm using my canadian legal ID documents to verify it.

Then, I downloaded the apple developer app, and I noticed when I try to pay for the subscription, where I must use the organization's USA credit card, it will conflict with the country on my apple ID account. If I change the country of my apple ID to be USA, I can't validate my address as I don't reside in the USA.

How can I complete the subscription of the organization as an apple developer and pay with their USA credit card?

The US-based organization should create and control and enroll their own Apple ID, particularly if this is headed for an organizational enrollment using a DUNS. They'll need to review and commit to the Apple agreements, and you're probably not a member, officer, or legal representative of the US-based organization. Once that's all read and agreed and established and Apple has accepted it, they can then invite you as a member of their development team.

Thank you MrHoffman. One follow-up quesiton please. For the organization to create their own apple ID, I haven't find any option for creating an apple ID for a company or organization. Should one of their execs create an apple ID to their personal name and then create the apple dev account for the organization?

The Apple ID can be whatever they want, so long as that name is not already in use. BiffsBigBurger, JankyWare, whatever. I’d probably use something vaguely similar to the company name, but that’s not required.

The organization name used for and shown with the app store submissions will be based on the submission to Apple Developer Program as an organization, with a DUNS included.

I would set up the Apple ID account recovery contact info as part of establishing this new account, maybe adding an account recovery contact or two, and two-factor authentication must be enabled. If y’all are potentially contentious and for whatever reason, I’d consider setting up security keys.
