Do Not Disturb Background and Schedule Not Working

After the update 2 before the current one, the one that was meant to fix text "appearing separately instead of replacing", I started to experience an odd phenomenon. Instead of turning DND off when its time was up, the phone retains some of the DND attributes, tho not all, and not always, and not always the same attributes. I didn't write to you after the first update following the appearance of the problem-- my text was suddenly displaying the very thing your update said it was meant to fix, so I figured you would notice, and there would be another update soon. When nothing (I needed fixed) was fixed, not the really stupid text problem, not the really annoying DND retention issue, I went through numerous steps, and eventually got the DND thing to stop with one, or possibly a combination, of the easy and well-known simple fixes. Possibly it was the network reset.

Last night, my sneaky phone updated to 17.4.1 while I slept-- something it usually won't do until IT decides, even when it's plugged in and charging, even when I cajole it with promises of a new case or doodad.

Sure enough, the text issue has not resolved, and the DND residual attributes problem has returned.

New problem-- text not defaulting to starting a new paragraph with a capital letter. I'll go run and fix that while I settle in to wait for a response.
