Am i not able to change my nickname on game center due to restrictions or is it a setting

I made this nickname when i was younger and don’t know what seems to be the problem. there might be a screen time restriction or it might be a setting

Unable to change Game Center nickname for a child account on iPhone My daughter just got an iPhone. I set up her account for her and she is listed as 13 (which she is). She is wanting to change her name in Game Center but is not able to. Where you would normally press change nickname, it’s like blocked out. Not something you are allowed to click. I can change the name, so most likely a Screen Time setting at: Settings > Screen Time > Content Restrictions > Avatar & Nickname Changes.
