Is my Apple ID being hacked?

I keep getting the text, your Apple ID code is xxxxxxxxxx please don’t share with anyone. Is this someone trying to hack in or an error, two day now plus a couple random ones months ago. What do I do

Your Apple ID Code is: XXXXXX Hi Since morning, I have been receiving sms that says Your Apple ID Code is: XXXXXX. Don't share it with anyone. First I received this message twice in the morning. Then I changed the password for my Apple ID. Now, in the evening I again got this message twice. What could be the possible reason for this and what steps should I take to keep my account safe?
