I bought iPhone 11 from my friends sister but it’s locked and I need a trusted number to hard reset I don’t have the phone number

I’d recently like three hours ago got an iPhone 11 from my best friend sister and it was originally their dad who is now in jail and has been in jail for like a while so they sold me the phone but I can’t hard reset it or factory reset it or do anything because it says I need the trusted phone number and none of them know whose number it is or what the phone number is anyways and I can’t reset it and I’m struggling

iPhone 11, iOS 16

You shouldn't be using another person's account and Apple won't help you get into it. What you need is to have the device properly set up for another user, as outlined in: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If the people who sold you the phone are not prepared or are unable to do that then the device is useless to you and you should ask for a refund.
