My Mac book air 2020 keeps on turning on and off after updating to Sonoma 14.2.
Now cannot turn on manually but it will turn itself on after 30 mins or hours.
When it’s on can only use like 5-10 minutes then will shut down again.
Any one having the same issue? Or Anyone can share how to fix it?

It is possible that the update did not complete before the lid was closed or it was put to sleep leaving you with a computer that is partially updated. You may need to reinstall Sonoma and that can be done using this Support Article. The article claims it does not remove any personal data, but I would exhaust all other options before attempting this if you do not have a backup.

When updating the OS, the computer will restart on its own several times and will appear to not be doing anything. Just let it continue until you are met with the login page. It could take more than 30 minutes before the entire process completes.
