I am unable to save anything to my desktop on mac airbook
I was previously able to save everything to my desktop. But now I can't save anything including word documents to my desk top. Help?

Try this: click anywhere on your Mac's Desktop. Then, File > New Folder
Does a folder named "untitled folder" appear on your Desktop?
- If it does, drag it to the Trash. You're finished troubleshooting as far as the Mac is concerned, so contact Microsoft for support with Microsoft Word.
- If it does not, then restart your Mac in the usual manner, and repeat. Same problem? Reinstall macOS according to How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support
- Same problem after reinstalling macOS? Something is wrong with that Mac we won't be able to diagnose over this site. Contact Apple: Official Apple Support
