Editing photos location on iPad Pro by map I’m wishing to correct location of photos on my iPad Pro, but I understand it is not possible to drag and drop the pin in the map view. The only way to change the location is trying to find an address or landmark which has been included in the location database. My photos are often from seaward or on Rivers. Anyone got any ideas? I find it incredible that Apple doesn’t allow dragging the pin to a correct location (why not??).

Is the "Show Map" option available in Photos on iPhone? Iphone 16 promax running IOS26.3 - Photos - there is no "Show Map" option. I'm trying to view photos that were taken from a certain location. On my macbookpro running 26.3, there a map option and it clearly shows where pictures were taken. Is this feature not available on the iphone?

If you select the picture and touch the circled "i" to get the info window, then you will see a field with "Add a location..." Hit that and type in Washington Monument (for instance), and a map will pop up locating the picture there. You can type in a landmark or an address. Later, the field will say "Adjust" if you want to change to Lincoln Memorial or just Revert.
