iMac stops halfway through booting?
It will start up but only halfway then just stops.
Tried booting in safe mode, resetting the pram, reset smc...nothing changes?
iMac 27″, macOS 14.2
It is likely a hardware failure. Please read what says to do:
If your Mac doesn't start up all the way - Apple Support
Note the final step is to take it in for service. To be honest if it is a 2017 or earlier, just replace the computer. You can use your Time Machine backup from the old Mac to help setup the new one.
