Your phone's call history is stored in a file named CallHistory.storedata. Using forensic methods, you can extract this data and find the information you need.

Here's a brief guide to locate and recover this data:

1. Create an encrypted backup of your phone using Finder on your Mac (call history is only saved in encrypted backups).

2. Scan your backup with any software capable of extracting files from iOS backups.

3. Locate the CallHistory.storedata file and recover it.

4. Change the file extension from .storedata to .db.

5. Open this file with any software that can handle SQL databases.

6. The ZCALLRECORD table contains the database of all your calls, including recently deleted ones.

P.S. If you have experience with SQL databases or forensic software, you can find call records spanning several years, including deleted ones.

It talks about recovering SMS messages but uses a similar technique and requires broader knowledge of working with SQL databases.

Dude, this really works. I'm not an expert with databases, but I recovered a file using Disk Drill like you said and sent it to my brother, who is great with databases and analytics. He found me 2 important phone numbers that called me last month, but I messed up and didn't save them. Tell me, can I use your method to recover deleted messages too? I really need the messages from our university advisor. And thanks a lot, man. Everyone says nothing can be recovered, but they’re totally wrong, haha.
