what is the best way to use a portable screen without cable with the mac mini m2?

I use my mac mini 2 as a music streamer, but it would be handy to use a screen/monitor now and then to operate the streamer. I have no TV nearby so I am looking for another way to operate the streamer. Without a hdmi cable.

What is the best way? I'm lost in apple airplay, apple airdrop, chromecast, mirroring screens and so called handy apps to do this. Apple is quiet new for me, I am used to Windows.

I'm looking for a solution from which I can connect to the streamer (not the other way) and see what's going on. Would an apple tablet do the trick? Or maybe even an iphone?
