I subscribe to Hulu, have a Hulu login that is not my Apple ID, and pay through PayPal. When I try to watch a program on Hulu, it prompts me to connect Hulu to my Apple TV app. If I do not, it will not let me watch any content from Hulu. It also states that all my apps will share all of my viewing data with Apple, which I do not want to do.
How do I view content through the provider’s apps and not the Apple TV app?

To circumvent the Apple TV app and its connecting with other apps, including the Up Next feature,
open the Hulu app directly on the Home Screen and watch in there.
Connecting apps to the Apple TV app should be optional. Can’t you skip that?
Hulu is not available in my country. Perhaps some other user may give you advise from their experience.
I’m not exactly sure how I was unclear in my first post. That’s exactly what I’m trying to do. Every time I open the Hulu app to watch some thing, it tells me to connect Hulu to the Apple TV app.
