Is Keyboard Cover and Screen Cover really unnecessary for a MacBook Pro ?

I read pretty much post about whether should use the Keyboard cover or screen cover on a MacBook.

Some said it will damage the screen because it will leave the mark on the screen; Some said it block the airflow and make the MacBook overheat; and some said it is totally fine to use the keyboard protector or screen protector because the heat vent is not in the keyboard, but from the hinge and side.

Anyone has a professional opinions about this?

  • Don’t put anything over the keyboard.

Leaving any material on your display, keyboard, or palm rest might interfere with the display when it's closed and cause damage to your display.
