how do i refund my apple id balance
i accidentally added money to my apple id account and i want to refund it back to my card

Normally once funds are in Apple Account balance the only way to get them out again is to spend them.

The above excerpt only mentions balances from gift cards as being eligible for refunding, and only in limited places where laws may require that. Read the support article for more details.
It may also depend upon what kind of "card". If you have a physical gift card from Apple then they may be able to return the balance to it if you have not already spent any of the money.
