To rent or to buy TV series

If I rent one episode of Fargo Season 5, and then decide I want to see the entire season, will my rental fee be applied to the purchase of a Season Pass?

If I buy Yellowstone season 5 now will I get all episodes as they are released it Says Yellowstone season 5 pt 1 & 2, but only has the two episodes that were released so far, will I get all episode for the season if I purchase it now? It doesn’t say anything about a season pass.

Purchasing TV seasons unavailable for certain seasons; episodes only. Seasons 3, 5 and 6 of 30 Rock on iTunes do not have the option to buy the entire season like seasons 1, 2, 4 and 7 do. I would rather not pay the expensive sum that buying each individual episode would add up to. Is this an oversight that needs to be fixed? Why are some seasons able to purchased in their entirety but these others are not?

Purchasing a tv show on Apple TV So i want to buy Adventure Time on Apple TV and it says “Buy from $1.99,” but am i paying for the whole show for $1.99 or is each episode or season for $1.99?
