How do I disable the inline predictions but keep the auto complete bar on 17.2.1?

There is this new feature which I absolutely hate that shows faded grey letters predicting the words that I am trying to type as I type it. This makes it impossible for me to think while I'm typing because words keep popping up and interrupting my thought process.

I like the auto suggestion bar but not the inline suggestions.

I tried to turn off Predictive Text and that removed both. I tried turning of Extended Predictions and that removed neither. Please advise.
