Apple TV on Windows doesn't access full library

On Win11 using Chrome or Edge to access tv.apple.com and searching for titles, tv.apple only returns partial or no results compared to apple computer or alliances. I installed the AppleTV app from the Microsoft Store can find more searched titles but everything is to buy or rent. Why can't I get the same results as Apple users?

Windows, Windows 10

That's expected behavior. "Pitch Black" is not part of Apple TV+, it is not Apple streaming content. However, "Finch" and "Calls" are Apple TV+ product that you can stream. Like any streaming service, you can stream only their content and access only the streaming content at tv.apple.com.

If you search on Device, you have access to the iTunes Store and can then purchase anything available in the store, such as "Pitch Black."

Not entirely sure what you mean. When you search at tv.apple.com you are searching only the Apple TV+ streaming content. Accessing on an Apple TV device, or through iTunes/Apple TV App will display a comprehensive search result of all content available to rent and buy in the iTunes Store in addition to Apple TV+ streaming original content.

I see and understand that Finch and Call is Apple original content and Pitch Black is not. I'm paying for this service and wheather I'm using the app or browser searching for a title, both should be searching the same library providing the same results. It appears Apple is giving access to the full library from the Apple app but if you're NOT using an Apple product like AppleTV appliance, Safari, App, you are not accessing the full libraryand getting partial results. For months, I've been paying and using chrome/edge and only getting limited access until recently when I found this out with the help of an Apple eco system user. Bottom line, search results should be the same regardless of the source you are searching from unless you are being directed to limited content based on the source being used. Don't take my money if you can't provide full access.

For instance, when I'm at tv.apple.com using Chrome or Edge searching for "Pitch Black", I only get two results, "Finch" and "Calls". When I'm using the Windows Apple TV app and search for "Pitch Black", I get Pitch Black, as well as the other two titles in the series. So now that I know Pitch Black is available in the Apple TV library, why can't I get the same results while using tv.apple.com while using chrome or edge? This also happens with other titles, not just Pitch Black.

You are paying for Apple TV+. You already have access to the full library of Apple TV+ content. You are getting exactly what you paid for.

as you do not have an apple device from which you are accessing content, it makes no sense to also display items in the iTunes Store. Items which you must purchase separately and access using an apple device
