Focusrite Solo/ Aston Mic/ Logic Pro X/ MacBook Air

This issue has been making me crazy for a few years now.

For some reason there is a hiss that shows up on my records. I have tried setting up my hardware and software over and over again, but i can't seem to get rid of it.

Im also confused with why i cant get my Sample Rate to remain at 48kHz in the MIDI setup It automatically switches back to 44.1kHz. My Focusrite requires 48v. I hope Im saying these things correctly and I am HOME Schooled. None of the videos on YOUTUBE give scientific answers and ask that i right in a way its not is not based on the real reason its happening. If it does, it doesnt work for me. Please help.

For MACS Its actually Audition remap! Channel Mapping & Audio Hardware, make sure your focusrite setup is the same for left and right side, i.e USB Input 1 for both! not usb 1 for left and 2 for right - this will eliminate

I think you are confusing the 48hz audionsample rate with the 48v that the microphone needs to function properly. I can't answer why your sample rate keeps changing, but the solution to your microphone having poor recordings is on your audio interface. On the front you should see a small button with 48v. Make sure it is pushed in and the red light is on. See picture of my Focusite. This sends power to your microphone. Now your recordings should be much better.
