Hi, as above. No option to screen record with Quicktime, only the ability to capture a screenshot. When I go into Settings - Privcy and security - Screen Recording, there isn't any app on the list and no option of adding an app to the list . My mac is running Ventura 13.6.3. Thanks
sorry, I cannot replicate your issue.
if I use Apple Menu > QuickTime Player > File I am given the full compliment of options.
and no matter if I use the above method or if I use "shift-command-5" all of the options are there.
if you use "shift-command-5" and need a screenshot, you choose one of the three options on the left.
but when you want to do a screen recording, you choose one of two options to the right.
if you are using those steps, and it's not working for you, I need to ask. are you using any apps that claim to "clean up" or "speed up" or otherwise "optomize" your Mac? and / or do you have any antivirus apps?
