Apps that support Widgets

I have an app that supports widgets, and it used to work, but now, when I attempt to add the widget to my home screen, the app is not listed. The app is telling me step-by-step how to do it, but my phone does not have the app listed for an option to add a widget. What can this mean?

No Widgets on IPad Pro 4. Generation? Since I have this IPad, I'm trying to figure out how to put Widgets on my homescreen. I guess this function wasn’t added, for whatever reason they didn’t added it since 2020. But maybe my they are added and just not available on an easy way… So could someone please tell me, if they seriously aren’t available or if I just can’t find them? Thank you! ( And no not it’s not possible with the button in the left corner and also I don't mean the widget board on the first “page”)

Cannot put apps on my home screen iPhone with ios18 Why can't I drag apps on to my first home screen from the other secondary home screens, only widgets are available via the edit menus (top left). Is this a normal function or an other reason? iPhone with ios18
