I recently bought a new iPhone 15 and have now noticed it doesn't want to charge wirelessly in my SUV's wireless charging space.

If it works with a standalone wireless charger either the one in your vehicle is not compatible with an iPhone or there’s an electrical problem in the car, most likely a blown fuse.
It might be worth clarifying the following:
1) Did your iPhone 15 charge initially in your car’s wireless charing pad and subsequently no longer charged your phone?
2) Do you have a non-MagSafe case on your iPhone? If so, that will definitely hinder the capability of any wireless charging. To take advantage of any wireless charging, it’s recommended to use a MagSafe case or similar.
