I am trying to watch AppleTV on my Sony TV. I get a verification code sent to my phone but there is nowhere to input the code on my TV.
Also, if trying to airplay from my laptop to my TV I get an error message This video is in a format that cannot be streamed to this TV.
Any work arounds for this. Getting annoying 'cause I can only watch AppleTV on my phone or laptop.

See if your Sony needs a software update. Look in .Bravia notifications from the settings button or use the Sony Home button to see if there are any. Otherwise try restarting the tv using the Sony remote - press and hold the power button until you see Restart, then Restart the tv.
As to AirPlay not working, some Apps disallow AirPlay and the Apple TV App might be one of them . Test from another App.
