Font Color in Contact Poster Not Displaying on Recipient’s iPhone

So, I’ve been messing around with Contact Posters today in iOS 17.2.1.

The background of my photo is white, so I changed the font color of my name on the poster to black. It displays fine while viewing the contact card on MY phone.

When I call someone from that phone, however, the font reverts to the regular light, almost white, color it normally displays, hence you can’t see my name against the white background.

Based on several videos I’ve watched on this feature, it SHOULD display the font color I chose on the recipient’s phone, but doesn’t. I’ve called a couple of different phones, no joy.

Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks!

What's displayed on other's devices is based on what they've saved in their contact list, not what you've specifically shared through Message settings.

When you utilize the Photo Sharing feature within the Message app, the recipient can save that photo and associate it with your contact information. Unfortunately, this isn't something you can modify or control once it's stored on their end.

Nevertheless, you retain the power to discontinue sharing your photos through messages at any moment. This allows you to manage the ongoing distribution of your images through that particular channel.

However, you can stop sharing your Photos through messages anytime.

Please see the pic below which is self-explanatory.
