Moving an iMac from the UK to the US

A plug adapter should suffice although a new US cord would be neater. Almost all Apple products have auto-switching power supplies.

Yes! You can use an adapter, but I suggest replacing the UK cord with a US power cord.

I think it will work. My U.S. purchased Macs have worked fine when I was in the U.K. I simply used a power adaptor, and you can too if you bring your U.K. Mac here. Getting a new power supply is another option but not required. By the way, we have had visitors from the U.K. here and their Macs and PCs worked fine with the adaptors.

If you feel like you need a new keyboard, don't buy it directly from Apple. You can order one from www.macsales.com when you get in the USA.
