Final Cut asking me to install Rosetta when trying to create DVD

When I try to Create DVD I am getting an error message. "Rosetta is required. Install Rosetta from the help menu". However I see no option to add it from the help menu and can't find anything rosetta related on the help menu. I'm on a new MacbookPro running Sonoma 14.

This happens because the Create Disc application - a helper application that is embedded with FCP itself - is an Intel application.

Usually, Rosetta is installed the first time you run an Intel application, but it can also be installed "manually":

1) Open Terminal

2) Paste the following command:

softwareupdate --install-rosetta
