iPad doesn't sometimes recognize printer

Latest gen iPad, used by my wife. Printer = Epson WF-2660. To print (usually from a recipe site), she must airdrop to my iMac, and I print the recipe from there. At times, print window on her iPad might read "No printer selected." Tapping that window identifies the printer, but upon returning to the Print page, "No printer selected" sometimes returns. When the Print page does identify the printer, tapping Print still won't activate the printer.

On other occasions, however, she can print from the iPad with no problem.
