Chrome repeatedly reloads webpages, even after restarting iPad and uninstall/re-install Chrome
ipad on ios 17.xx problem using Chrome browser. Pages refresh constantly while trying to read the pages. I used to think it was a wepage coding issue , and it still might be . But no matter the reason, it needs to be stopped, or I can not continue using Chrome. The same web pages do not do this when on my Windows PC in Chrome, just my ipad.
Just for good measure I will include the SOP that the AI responder will tell us all to do .
I already did these things:
- always keep ios up to date
- Restarted ipad.
- uninstall Chrome and reinstall Chrome.
I am somewhat thinking it is a setting, but every internet search that comes up with suggested Chrome Settings changing has not worked mostly because the settings described are not there to change.
As if the internet post was for some other version of Chrome.
I am getting desperate, hate to give up my ipad. Tried getting used to Edge and Safari but prefer to stay on Chrome.
All advice appreciated, links to long rabbit-holes not appreciated.
