I am trying to copy and paste either rows, column, several cells, or complete tables from one place to another, and my copy/paste functions are not working. The only way it works is if I just copy and paste single cells. does anyone have solutions to fix this issue?
Have you done the usual troubleshooting, including restarting your Mac?
If restarting doesn't work then try signing into a different user account on your Mac (you may need to set up a temporary new one) and see if the behavior recurs there.
Add a user or group on Mac - Apple Support
Also make sure your versions of Numbers and macOS are the latest your hardware can support. I'm on 13.2 running under 14.2.1.

Happens to me sometimes in these discussions that something I could paste yesterday gives me trouble today. Comes and goes. But, I've never had a problem within Numbers as you are having right now.
Can you copy and paste other types of objects? Text?
Here's the standard prescription for a misbehaving app: Quit App, Restart Computer, Launch app, see if the problem is still there. If so, consider contacting Apple Support.

What kind of things are you trying to Paste into? Can you, for example, Paste into a blank Sheet? If so, what does that end up looking like?

It will not let me paste it into a blank sheet, or into text format, or into empty cells. I actually haven't found anywhere it is allowing me to paste into. you could tell the function is responding, but nothing is actually happening.

I am able to copy and paste text in other formats, and even from cell to cell. but once I try to copy 2 or more cells, it fails to do so. I have tried to force quit and restart. Sadly, this hasn't worked for me. Thanks for your help though.
