Numbers - moving a row

When I move a row in numbers (by using Ctrl x to cut and paste into another sheet) it leaves behind an unwanted blank row.

How do I move a row without leaving behind an unwanted blank row?

If the two tables are on the same sheet, do as 6x6 described. This will actually move the row, taking it out of the one table and placing it as a new row in the other.

If the two tables are on different sheets,

  1. Command X (Not Control X, that is Microsoft)
  2. Option Command Delete to delete the row. Or right click on the row and choose Delete Row
  3. Command V (Paste) into a blank row in the other table. If it was not a blank row it overwrites what was there.
