iOS 17.3 installed but no Stolen Device Protection

Same here: iPad 9th gen, iOS 17.3, Touch ID activated for everything, Screen Time: no restrictions, but no Stolen Device Protection available...

Any help very appreciated!

You need to go to Settings > "Face ID & Passcode". You won't see it if you disallowed "Account Changes" in Screen Time. Set it temporarily to "Allow", wait a few seconds and then goto to Settings > "Face ID & Passcode".

I think I have found why the new option Stolen Device Protection option doesn’t show up for some .

Go to ..Screen Time -Content and Privacy Restrictions ..scroll down to Pascode Changes ..and have this option set to Allow (it was Don’t Allow for me before ) otherwise it will not show up Stolen Device Protection

That change worked for me ,hope it helps .

Everything in screen time is allowed n still no stolen device protection

I had to turn my screen time on to see Face ID and protection. I previously had it turned off.

Yes, the setting is still on after you disallow "Passcode Changes." I tested it on my iPhone and the setting "sticks" even if "Face ID & Code" is hidden in Settings.

Another thing to check is that Face ID is actually on! I just ran across that issue from a friend who I help with computer issues.

Unfortunately i dont have a stolen device protection, even doing all these suggestions. i need help

Thanks! I did so and was able to turn on Stolen Device Protection. I then went back to Screen Time >Content and Privacy Restrictions, and returned Passcode Changes to Don't Allow. Obviously I can no longer see Face ID and Passcode in Settings, which I expected, but I assume Stolen Device Protection is still activated. Am I correct in assuming this?

I had enabled "disallow Passcode & Account Changes" prior to 17.3. What are the benefits of re-enabling "disallow Passcode Changes" and "disallow Account Changes" after enabling Stolen Device Protection in 17.3? Doesn't Stolen Device Protection and Face ID cover the loopholes pre-17.3?

Turning off all Face id and attention toggles (screenshot is posted above) AND Screen Time -Content and Privacy Restrictions ..scroll down to Pascode Changes ..and have this option set to Allow worked. I was able to set stolen device protection.

Then I went back and disallowed passcode changes.
