I have a 2020 iMac running Sonoma 14.3. Anyone having trouble sending email through Apple Mail with the mail.twc.com outgoing email server? All my email accounts stopped sending on Monday. All the spectrum provided settings and passwords are correct. I am receiving emails fine, but cannot send anything.

Recently I noticed that they now require a secure connection with the same incoming server's credentials, and I also had to update the SMTP address. Here is the configuration for Mail at Settings... → Accounts → Server Settings (header) → Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) that worked for my POP rr email account: (create a separate outgoing mail server "account" configuration for each unique email account since some of the fields are account-specific)
And don't forget to press save in the bottom right.

Just troubleshot the same issue with Apple. The Apple Mail app on both my iMac and iPhone would not send outgoing messages from my twc.com email address. The solution was to delete that account from the Apple Mail App on both devices and add it back. Both devices started sending mail as expected!
I completed the process one device at a time.
Did you verify that you’re able to send outgoing mail using a web browser at mail.spectrum.com?
I could not sign in since I am not a customer, but I'd suggest you contact their support to make sure you have the Mail app configured correctly:
Hi! Thanks for your response. I just tried deleting and reinstalling my email and it still doesn't send on either my iPhone or iMac. Did you delete both at the same time, or delete one and reinstall then delete and reinstall the other? This is so frustrating.
The mail app is correctly configured, as stated above. Spectrum has also confirmed this, and has suggested this is an Apple problem.
