Black spot on edge of screen iPhone 12 Pro

I have a black spot on the screen edge of my iPhone 12 pro unfortunately I noticed that after my iPhone warranty expired. I never dropped my phone, no water damage nothing, in fact, my iPhone is in perfect condition and still has the black spot. After investigating, I found out that a lot of people have similar issues, and looks like it's a known issue to Apple. Is there any way/chance Apple can address my issue?
