Blackmagic Shuttle HD - FCPX Export - Fail (??)

Hello,

I’ve tried so many exports from FCPX in order to get files to play on the Blackmagic Shuttle HD. Nothing seems to work. I’ve looked at files recorded on the Shuttle and tried to match the specs. Nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know how to export from FCPx to the Shuttle HD? Like what the specs would be.

Thanks!!

You may need to contact Blackmagic Design tech support. This is not an FCPX issue. The Hyperdeck Shuttle accepts pretty much anything FCPX will export. So get in touch with BMD and they'll get you fixed up the quickest.

Just curious, why do you need to playback video on the Hyperdeck Shuttle?

Hey… I have a YouTube channel. (Who doesn’t right? LOL: https://goo.gl/L4FsHI)

I layout episodes in FCPX. Then I chop up the video that is part of each episode. Then I dump the clips to the shuttle. Then I record the episodes “Live”. (Not with an audience. But this way the videos are more conversational and natural (or at least that’s what I hope.)

The Shuttle HD will literally reject any file I throes at it
