How do I disable/remove activities app?

When I take my dogs for a hike (generally in terrain with limited or no cell connectivity), frequently my newer SE-LTE watch (with whatever the latest iOS update might be), will start buzzing me to tell me I'm out for a walk, and wanting to record, or maybe already is "recording" my activity; I have seen both come up. "Go away; quit bugging me :-P"

It is a PITA, especially in winter/gloves, to have to stop and poke at the watch until I find the spot to turn this off. I thought I had it disabled, but one of the recent updates must have turned it back on. I don't use the Activities app, and would like to simply get rid of it, since it refuses to shut up.

Any thoughts?

No need to erase the Activities App, you can disable this autostart feature. Since I did that on my Apple Watch, it does not disturb me anymore while taking a walk or hike.

To delete the Activity App, press on it until it wiggles, then tap the little cross.

But, when you delete a built-in app from your device, you also delete any related user data and configuration files. This can affect things like related system functions or information on your Apple Watch.
